“Dream, Play, Win” is the slogan for the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.
The Pan American Games will be held in Chile for the first time in less than 20 months.
The slogan, according to organizers, “reflects the experience of every athlete, young and old”.
It represents the journey from dreaming of being an international athlete to winning titles and recognition on the playing field.
In a video endorsing the slogan, athletes such as Guyana’s Aliann Pompey – chair of the Panam Sports Athlete Commission – Peruvian karateka Alexandra Grande, and Brazil’s Arthur Nory took part.
Chile will host the Pan American Games for the first time in 2023 in Santiago.
The event will take place from October 20 to November 5.
Panam Sports has praised preparations to date for the nearly 7,000 athletes expected to compete.
From November 17 to 25, the Parapan American Games will take place.
